Subject: Re: Rifle supply catlogs?

The following is a list of (predominantly) benchrest-related
paraphenalia. Naturally, many of these gunsmiths and components can be
used for other activities where rifle accuracy is important. Additions
will be considered and corrections to the list are welcome. Items and
individuals with an asterisk (*) beside them are known to me personally,
and have given excellent results/service. Just because they're not on
the list, or don't have an asterisk beside them, doesn't mean the
product/gunsmith is not top-of-the-line, just that I've never used the
product/service.

by far the best periodical "dealing exclusively with the topic of extreme
rifle accuracy", carries advertisements for many of the best accuracy
products, companies, and gunsmiths associated with the benchrest game,
has some special publications in addition to the monthly magazine, has a
"Trading Post" for buying and selling equipment, $28/yr or $45/2yr in the USA
PS is the house organ of the International Benchrest Shooter's Association.

Another, more specialized BR publication/organization
NBRSA News
2027 Buffalo
Levelland, TX 79336-6721

published monthly, it's not as slick or wide-ranging as PS, but has
lots of "hard core" match reports (especially from the western U.S.)
and some technical articles. It's the house organ of the National
Benchrest Shooter's Association. $35/yr NBRSA membership (includes
